My digital camera (Pentax K20D) doesn't support a GPS Tracking optional part unlike Nikon does, hence I thought the application I had installed on iPhone should be a help to trace the route I have driven through.
The embedded below shows the round trip track of my first geo-tagging drive to Odawara Wanpaku Land along with EveryTrail on iPhone3G:
Before you start, the following preparations are required:
- Set your iPhone3G clock punctually - you just can synch your iPhone3G up with iTunes on your PC that has a punctual clock - better synch with NTP server if possible.
- Set the clock on your digital camera punctually
Failure of the above preparations will result in the digital photos to be mapped to an inappropriate location.
EeryTrail is very battery-consumable as it keeps listening to the GPS signal as well as downloading the mapping data simultaniously... but I instantly felt in love with it and would love to bring it everywhere I go :)
